Tamil weddings are an absolute experience. The bride arrives on a horse or in a palanquin; the groom's family dances down the street with a drum line; the buffet has three dessert stations; the DJ plays Kollywood remixes until someone's grandmother takes the mic. The only problem with Tamil weddings is that you need two Tamil people getting married to have one.

Or you can come to ours on 27 September 2025, and we will stage the whole thing for you. No bride, no groom, all the fun.

The programme

  • 6 pm — Welcome drinks and savoury appetisers. Rose water, roasted cashews, kara sev
  • 7 pm — The buffet opens. Eight main dishes, four curries, three rice varieties, a live dosa station
  • 9 pm — DJ starts. Kollywood remixes, 90s hits, Bollywood floor fillers, a bit of Tamil rap
  • 10 pm — Dance floor fully open. Fake garlands available. The buffet stays open for anyone who needs a second plate after dancing
  • Until it stops — Because real Tamil weddings don't have a closing time either

Tickets 44,90 € per person. Non-Tamil friends welcome (and strongly encouraged). The first ten to reserve get a complimentary sweet box to take home.

If you have been to a Tamil wedding before, you know the energy. If you haven't — this is the friendliest way to find out.
